Christmas Market Vendor Information
Thank
you for your interest in participating in the 49th annual Georgetown Christmas
Market, held this year on December 5, 6, 12, and 13, 2009, from 10:00am until
5:00pm each day. Booth space is $400 for all four days of this popular event unless
you are sharing a booth with another vendor. Some of you may have paid in advance.
Vendor
Application Form
Christmas Market requirements
are as follows:
Articles for sale must be
unique and not already represented at Georgetown Christmas Market.
Pricing
must be within a reasonable range.
You
must be present all assigned days of Christmas Market. The Market will go on -
snow or shine. Refunds are not given for any reason.
Payment
must be received no later than October 19, 2009 or you may run the risk of forfeiting
your booth space.
Strousse Park Booths
are 8'x6' and covered with available electricity. There is no heat, but non-electric
space heaters are permitted.
The State
of Colorado requires all vendors at a special event to have a single event or
multiple events license, regardless of for-profit or non-profit tax status.
The
State of Colorado requires that you register with the State for a Special Event
Sales Tax License for the town of Georgetown so that the appropriate portion of
any sales tax you collect during the Christmas Market will be applied to the Town
of Georgetown. This sales tax reporting will be filed along with your regular
sales tax report by January 20, 2009. Additional information is available from

Booths are
not secure over night.
Vendors may not
have any presence outside their assigned booth without written approval by Historic
Georgetown.
