The Bowman-White House, an Italianate style two-story structure with Queen-Anne detail, has a long history of hosting weddings. Iorria Bowman, daughter of the original owner of this house, was married in her father's study under a bough of evergreens in 1899. Since that time, there have been others who were drawn to the romance of the house and recited their vows under the quaking aspens or in the bay window looking out to the Rocky Mountains. A site fee of $650 is required with a non-refundable deposit. Rental fees include use of the house, including a dressing room for the bride with its original dressing mirror, music room, parlor, dining room, study, and restroom as well as the spacious grounds, which feature two other historic properties important in Georgetown's history.
