Visitor Center dedication touts "A Celebration of Partnerships"


Approximately 250 guests, including State Senator Joan Fitz-Gerald, State Representative Tom Plant, Clear Creek County Commissioners Jo Ann Sorensen, Harry Dale, Bob Poirot, and Georgetown Police Judge Tom Bennhoff, attended the July 31 dedication of the Gateway Visitor Center. A delegation of 50 Masons performed the ceremonial laying of the cornerstone.

CEREMONIAL CEMENT: Right Worshipful John Buchanan hands the trowel to Gracie Werlin as her father Peter Werlin looks on. The youngest member of the audience, Gracie applied the first batch of "mud" for the cornerstone.
