As recommended by the HGI nominating committee, the following individuals have been elected to the Board of Directors by the HGI membership: Bob Bowland. Bob has been very involved in the Idaho Springs area over the years and is currently serving his second term as president of the Idaho Springs Historical Society. He has also been active with the Chamber of Commerce, the Clear Creek County Tourism Board, and the Idaho Springs Joint Venture. He and his wife Jan owned and operated a motel in Idaho Springs for many years, and we welcome his involvement with Historic Georgetown. Mark Graybill. Mark is a business owner in Georgetown with the
End of the Line Soda Fountain. He lives in Golden, and since buying End
of the Line,

Sally Hopper. Sally has been influential in Colorado for many years, serving in the Colorado State Senate from 1987-1999. She has been an active member of the Colorado Chapter of Colonial Dames, who own and operate the Hotel de Paris Museum; she currently serves as Chairman of that Board of Directors. Sally's experience will be an asset to the HGI board. Barry Westerland. Barry is one of the artist-owners of the Georgetown Gallery of Fine Art, currently serving as vice-president of the artist co-op. Barry lives in Silverthorne and recently retired from JP Morgan Chase Bank. Barry and his wife moved to Silverthorne from New York City. Barry's banking and finance expertise will be a great addition to the HGI board. Incumbent board members re-elected to the HGI Board are Mary Riddle Clark, Bob Gibbs, and Bill Wilson. Retiring board members who did not seek re-election are Pauline Marshall, and Virginia Fountain. |
