11. THOMAS HAMILL, Esquire, Henry's son, was born in or near Belfast,
Ireland, 21 August, 1795. He apparently was taken to England at the age
of three where he spent the rest of his life. Thomas married HANNAH ELIZABETH
HALL, born 18 March, 1800 in Shrewsbury, Shropshire9.
They had nine children: At the time of Mary Anne's christening in 1822 Thomas Hamill and his wife lived at Davids Buildings in Shrewsbury where he was employed as a weaver. He is believed to have engaged in Trans-Atlantic shipping or freight business. He apparently had some association with Train and Cos, Emigration Offices, 118 & 119 Waterloo Road, Liverpool, in 1851, at which time he resided at 14 Kensington Street, Kensington, Liverpool. In 1853 he lived at #11 Tynemouth Street Breek (or Breed) Road Everton, Liverpool10. He may have had some affiliation with the Royal Navy. He died in Liverpool, England in 1858. His widow, Hannah, came to America. It is not clear where or with whom she lived thereafter. Frances Maria and Joseph Watson lived in Salt Lake City, Utah from about 1871 until about 1879. Hannah died of "old age" in Salt Lake City, 24 September, 1874. She was buried at the Episcopal Cemetery there, interment number 6491. The remains of one "Hanna Hamill" were brought to Denver from Salt Lake City in 1881. They were interred at Riverside Cemetery, lot 28, block 1, with the Watson family.
